FOOT-MOUNTED ELECTRIC VIBRATORY MOTORS FOR VIBRATING FEEDERS, VIBRATORY CONVEYORS, SHALE SHAKERS, AND FOUNDRY SHAKEOUT
AIRMATIC stocks the nation’s largest inventory of Base-Mount Electric Vibrator Motors.
Our Vibratory Motors are used on Vibrating Feeders & Conveyors, Foundry Shakeout, Screeners, Densifiers & De-airers, Classifiers, Separators, Sifters, Settlers & Compactors and Shale Shakers. Our Vibrator Motors are fully interchangeable with those supplied with equipment made by the majority of vibratory equipment manufacturers.
Further, AIRMATIC is a Service Center for all makes of foot-mount or base-mount vibrator motors and an Authorized Service Provider for many vibrator manufacturers. Suggested Reading: Best Practice Preventive Maintenance Guidelines for Vibratory Motors.
FLANGE-MOUNTED, ELECTRIC VERTICAL VIBRATORY MOTORS FOR CIRCULAR VIBRATING SCREENS, VIBRATORY SEPARATORS AND SIEVES
AIRMATIC stocks and services Flange Mount Vertical Vibrators that are fully interchangeable with all Wedge-Mount, and single or double Flange-Mounted and Waist-Mount Vertical Vibrators.
Our Flange-Mount Vibrators are used on Circular Screens, Sieves, Round Separators, and other finishing machines that require horizontal circular motion, made by all vibratory equipment manufacturers.
MECHANICAL FORCE EXCITERS FOR GRIZZLY SEPARATORS, AND LARGE VIBRATORY FEEDERS AND VIBRATING CONVEYORS
AIRMATIC stocks and repairs Linear Motion Mechanical Exciters.
Our Exciters are interchangeable with those used by most manufacturers of large Vibrating Conveyors, Vibrating Feeders, and Vibrating Screens, such as Banana Screens, Horizontal and Incline Screens, Vibrating Classifiers, Dewaterers, and Grizzly Separators used throughout the Coal, Mining and Quarrying, Steel, and Aggregate Industries. Unlike the unbalance motor design of Vibratory Motors, our Directional Force Exciters are equipped with two shafts with unbalanced masses which are synchronized through a built-in gear drive to rotate each shaft at the same speed but in opposite directions.
The speed of our Vibration Exciters can be varied with a frequency inverter. Our Mechanical Exciters are available in 11 sizes and can be externally driven by an electric or hydraulic motor directly coupled, or by belts and pulleys. These unidirectional Mechanical Force Exciters can be linked/mounted in-line through cardan shafts to achieve very high centrifugal forces. Our Linear Motion Force Exciters feature state-of-the-art design and the highest quality components to guarantee minimal maintenance, long life, and quiet operation. Our Mechanical Exciters directly interchange with units used on all makes of vibratory equipment.
Further, AIRMATIC is a Service Center for all makes of Mechanical Force Exciters. Suggested Reading: Best Practice Preventative Maintenance Guidelines for Mechanical Force Exciters.
VIBRATORY EQUIPMENT: TROUBLESHOOTING & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Need technical assistance or troubleshooting support to solve a problem with your existing vibratory equipment or in selecting new equipment?
Let AIRMATIC Application Specialists help. We have over 30 years’ experience in vibratory equipment selection and troubleshooting, and because we don’t represent any vibratory equipment manufacturers, we can provide expert and impartial recommendations concerning operational issues, reducing equipment downtime or causes of equipment failure. We can provide best practice preventative maintenance ideas, detailed instructions on repairing damaged vibratory equipment, or we can assist in a Potential Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) in order to make recommendations on how to reduce operating risks and maintenance issues by either modifying the vibratory equipment or changing how it's used.
VIBRATORY MOTOR REPAIR AND REWIND SERVICE
IIf a Vibratory Drive needs repair, we're ready and able to help.
Most of the Vibratory Equipment OEMs and most electric motor repair shops are not trained to repair Rotary Electric Vibrator Motors which, unlike balanced induction motors, are specifically designed to generate vibration and built to withstand the loads imposed. We recommend that all vibratory motors be returned to the actual vibrator manufacturer or to a repair facility that specializes in vibrator repair, like our Malvern, PA Service Center. Attempting to repair Electric Vibrator Motors in-house or by a non-qualified repair shop will lead to vibratory motors that are not performing to specifications or failing prematurely, and will, in most cases, void the vibratory motor manufacturer’s warranty. Qualified Service Centers use only genuine replacement parts, including bearings and specially formulated grease.
VIBRATOR MOTOR STARTERS, VIBRATOR GREASE AND MORE
AIRMATIC provides all the control components and maintenance items needed to maintain peak performance of your Vibratory Motors and Mechanical Force Exciters.
• Motor Starters, Timers & Variable Speed Controls
Standard or custom-configured Starters with NEMA-rated contactors and enclosures and solid-state overload protection as well as protection against single vibrator operation (causing the loss of linear vibration in twin vibratory motor applications). These protective features can be further enhanced with the addition of a braking feature based on either phase reversal or DC injection to provide a controlled stop with minimal effect on adjacent equipment or dust seals within the system. The standard timer range is designed to enable precise control of both "ON" and "OFF" periods when using either an electric or pneumatic vibrator on an application requiring intermittent operations. The Variable Speed Control Panels enable a user to control the frequency of vibration (from 0 Hz to maximum) and thereby control the flow of material in a precise linear fashion in any application. Our controls are available in both single and three-phase power, either with or without braking.
• Automatic Lubrication Systems
These safe, reliable, and labor-saving devices operate on the principle that automatic and consistent lubrication over long intervals is superior to occasional, manual lubrication. Automatic lubrication keeps constant pressure and positive lubrication on bearing points, which keeps moisture and other contaminants out of the bearings, while at the same time delivering only the precise amount (neither too little nor too much) of industrial lubricant needed to keep equipment running.
• Electric Vibrator Lubrication
AIRMATIC stocks KLUBER NBU 8EP, NBU 15, and Isoflex Topas NB 52 Grease for ITALVIBRAS and MARTIN Vibratory Motors; ESSO Unirex N3 Grease for INVICTA-HINDON Vibratory Motors; and FAG Arcanol VIB 3 Grease for VIMARC Vibratory Motors. Vibrator lubrication should be scheduled every 2000-hours unless otherwise specified by vibrator manufacturer. We recommend you always use the grease specified by the manufacturer, and that you never mix brands or types of grease.
• Mounting Kits
When using a Vibratory Motor to prompt and maintain material flow for bins, hoppers, chutes, and silos, we recommend using a Vibrator Motor Mount and Safety Kit to maximize vibration transfer, minimize vessel damage, and prevent worker injury or equipment damage due to a falling vibrator from a failed mount.
